First Real Snow Of The Season Results In Several Motor Vehicle Accidents In Pennsylvania.

One of the many highlights of living in the northern, part of the country is that, during the winters, you get plenty of snow and can participate in all the activities that come along with it. Many Northerners are able to go outside and enjoy a nice day of skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and ice skating unlike those who live in the south. However, there are risks associated with these winter months. The biggest of them all can be driving; snow and ice are responsible for many car accidents each year.  If you are a victim of an accident involving snow and ice, you should turn to one of the experienced Boston car accident personal injury lawyers or expert snow and ice injury attorneys at the Law Offices of Gilbert R. This past weekend, in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, a combination of light snow and bitter cold temperatures caused slippery road conditions which led to several multi-vehicle accidents and speed restrictions throughout the region. State police responded to at least 15 accidents on Saturday morning alone. There was a crash involving an eight-passenger car and three commercial vehicles in the eastbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike between Morgantown, Pennsylvania and Downingtown, Pennsylvania. Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and were taken to a nearby hospital.

Earlier Saturday, an accident involving multiple vehicles occurred on I-76 westbound in Gulph Mills, Pennsylvania between Exit 331A and Exit 330.  A similar multi-vehicle crash occurred on I-76 westbound in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania resulting in all lanes closing. The crashes left drivers stuck for hours.  Officials say at least ten people were hurt in the motor vehicle accidents though none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening.
